Schedule/Hours:

Required Qualifications:

• Associates degree (A.A.S.) in Respiratory Therapy
• Active NYS Respiratory Therapist license/registration
• A minimum of 2 years of post-degree acute care clinical experience
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
• Successful completion of pre-employment health clearance

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver positive pressure and aerosol therapies
• Institute and monitor patient oxygen therapy
• Assist physicians in establishing and managing continuous ventilation
• Administer cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
• Conduct pulmonary function tests and perform radial arterial punctures
• Confidently manage acute care respiratory functions with minimal supervision
