This opportunity is ideal for clinicians eager to broaden their skillset by working with varied patient populations, utilizing advanced respiratory therapies, and learning from diverse teams and leadership approaches. Expand your rsum with complex NICU and adult critical care experience, including neonatal transport and high-frequency ventilation modalities.
Schedule/Hours:
- 1800-0630 (12-hour night shifts)
- Days: Variable
- On Call: As needed
Key Qualifications:
- Current RRT credential required
- ABG license required
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
- Minimum 3 years of level 3 NICU experience
- Proficiency with high frequency ventilation, nitric oxide, heliox, neonatal intubation, neonatal ventilator management, bubble CPAP, heated high flow, neonatal arterial puncture, and delivery attendance
- NICU transport experience preferred
- Must reside at least 100 miles from Sun Valley, NV
Primary Responsibilities:
- Administer physician-prescribed respiratory care
- Provide diagnostic evaluation, including physiological specimen collection & analysis, cardiopulmonary monitoring, and respiratory function testing
- Manage and educate patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies
- Operate and monitor advanced respiratory equipment, medical gases, and ventilation systems
- Deliver care in both adult and neonatal critical care settings, floating as needed
- Participate in cardiopulmonary rehabilitation and emergency response situations
