Responsibilities:

  • Assess, treat, and monitor patients requiring respiratory care under physician direction.
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gases and pulmonary function tests.
  • Administer therapeutic procedures including ventilator management, aerosol therapy, and oxygen delivery.
  • Educate patients and families regarding respiratory treatments and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate, concise patient records and participate in interdisciplinary team discussions.
  • Ensure the safety and cleanliness of respiratory therapy equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Active RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) credential.
  • Current state license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist.
  • Minimum of one years recent clinical experience (travel experience preferred, but not required).
  • Strong communication and critical thinking abilities.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in new workplace settings.
