Schedule/Hours:
- Travel assignment; specific hours/schedule provided upon interview
Key Qualifications:
- Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- At least one year of NICU experience
- Proficiency in performing diagnostic lung function tests and respiratory assessments
- Experience with phlebotomy procedures and IV starts/removals
- Exceptional communication, patient education, and critical thinking skills
- Valid license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic and pulmonary function tests
- Create and implement individualized treatment plans
- Monitor patient progress, modify therapy as needed in collaboration with medical staff
- Perform phlebotomy, initiate and discontinue IV access
- Instruct patients and families on treatment administration and equipment usage
- Deliver specialized neonatal respiratory care as required
