As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, youll work alongside a diverse healthcare team, providing care to patients of all ages across neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric units. This dynamic environment will allow you to grow your clinical abilities while gaining exposure to a variety of medical approaches and leadership stylesboosting your resume and expanding your professional toolkit.
Schedule/Hours:
- 72 hours bi-weekly
- 7:00am 7:00pm
- Every other weekend
Key Qualifications:
- Active Illinois Respiratory Care Practitioner license
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credentials
- Successful completion of the written registry and clinical simulation exams
- Experience in acute care; both new graduates and seasoned professionals welcome
- Strong independent judgment and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver both basic and advanced respiratory care in accordance with patient-specific needs
- Evaluate, plan, implement, and modify respiratory care plans
- Perform accurate patient assessments, monitor progress, and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team
- Maintain thorough and compliant documentation of all care provided
