A healthcare opportunity is available for a skilled Respiratory Therapist with a focus on acute care. This contract position is located in Springfield, MA, offering a chance to provide essential respiratory care in a dynamic clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive respiratory therapy services to patients in acute care settings
- Monitor and assess patient respiratory status, responding promptly to changes
- Collaborate with healthcare team to implement patient care plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety protocols
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification preferred; Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) with strong acute care experience will also be considered
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) preferred but not mandatory if clinically strong
- Demonstrated ability to manage respiratory care equipment and therapies effectively
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
Schedule/Hours:
- 36 hours per week
- Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Every other weekend and holiday rotation
