You'll collaborate with seasoned respiratory therapists and supportive healthcare professionals, fostering exposure to a variety of patient populations, both adult and neonatal. Experience first-hand different leadership styles and workplace practices, enriching your professional development and opening new pathways for your career.
Schedule:
- 3x12 hour shifts per week
- Includes every other weekend
Key Qualifications:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Minimum 2 years of general RT experience
- Strong NICU skills required (must demonstrate proficiency at a 3 level or higher)
- Experience with CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, Bubble CPAP, and assisting with intubation/mechanical ventilation
- BLS, ACLS (NRP preferred, can be obtained after hire)
- Comfortable with Meditech documentation system
- Required to wear all-black scrubs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver respiratory care to adults and NICU patients using advanced modalities and the latest equipment
- Assist with intubation and mechanical ventilation procedures
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Adhere to unit-specific policies and guidelines
- Provide exceptional patient and family support
