Schedule/Hours:

• 1800-0630 (12-hour night shifts)
• Days: Variable
• On-call: As needed

Role Highlights:

• Float between all areas: adult critical care and level 3 neonatal critical care.
• Provide respiratory therapy, following physician prescription, to patients with varying cardiopulmonary conditions.
• Conduct diagnostic evaluations, obtain/analyze physiological specimens, and interpret physiologic data.
• Manage advanced respiratory equipment including high frequency ventilation, nitric oxide, heliox, bubble CPAP, heated high flow, and mechanical ventilatory support.
• Responsible for neonatal intubation, ventilator management, neonatal arterial puncture, and delivery attendance.
• Participate in NICU transports (experience preferred).

Qualifications:

• More than three years of level 3 NICU Respiratory Therapy experience (required).
• Demonstrable competence with high frequency ventilation, nitric oxide, neonatal intubation, ventilator management, and transport experience preferred.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required.
• Active ABG license and RRT credentials.
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility.
