This role provides exceptional professional growth as youll collaborate with skilled health teams across diverse departments, including heart and vascular care, oncology, womens health, pediatrics, and more. The opportunity to float to the NICU will deepen your experience in neonatal and critical care, building practical skills and broadening your clinical perspective. Expand your resume by working in a 225-bed facility ranked as the regions premier center for advanced imaging, surgery, and laboratory services.
Schedule/Hours:
- Travel assignment; specifics provided during interview.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality respiratory care and therapy to patients of all ages, including neonatal intensive care when needed.
- Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams in specialized units such as cardiology, neurology, Pediatrics, and behavioral health.
- Adapt to different patient care settings throughout the facility, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to excellent outcomes.
- Perform diagnostic procedures and interpret test results, while maintaining meticulous documentation.
- Contribute to the safety, education, and emotional support of patients and families.
Qualifications:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
- Relevant state licensure in Michigan (or ability to obtain).
- NICU experience or strong willingness to learn and float to the NICU.
- Previous experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
