This travel position offers an exceptional opening for a Registered Respiratory Therapist to work closely with top medical professionals, gaining first-hand experience with a range of cardiopulmonary services spanning both acute and recovery care settings. Schedule/Hours:

  • Travel contract position with variable shifts based on department need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory services for inpatients and outpatients.
  • Implement and follow protocols in accordance with departmental policies.
  • Assist physicians with both invasive and non-invasive cardiopulmonary procedures.
  • Manage ventilators, maintain patient airways, and provide medicated aerosol therapy.
  • Perform arterial line insertions, intubations, pulmonary function studies, stress tests, and blood gas analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Registered (RRT) or Certified (CRT) Respiratory Therapist credentialed by the NBRC.
  • Active WA Respiratory Therapist license.
  • Current ACLS & BLS certifications (American Heart Association required).
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records (list experience if possible).
  • Previous travel or acute/long-term acute care hospital experience preferred.
