A Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) opportunity is available in Seattle, WA, offering a travel assignment that provides critical cardiopulmonary support to inpatient and outpatient populations. This role requires expertise in respiratory care protocols, delivering timely diagnostic and therapeutic services under established medical guidelines. The position emphasizes collaboration with physicians during invasive and non-invasive procedures and ensures comprehensive management of respiratory treatments and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medicated aerosols using medical compressed gases
- Maintain patient airways and manage mechanical ventilators
- Assist with arterial line insertions and perform intubations
- Conduct pulmonary function tests, cardiac and pulmonary stress assessments
- Analyze and monitor blood gases for optimal patient care
- Follow approved medical staff protocols and departmental policies
Qualifications and Certifications:
- Current National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential (required in submission)
- Valid Washington State Respiratory Therapist (RT) license (must be attached to resume)
- Current American Heart Association ACLS and BLS certifications (attachments required)
