Schedule:
- 23 shifts per week
Qualifications:
- RRT/CRT and NRP certification required; PALS required, STABLE preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience in NICU transport
- Advanced knowledge of transport physiology, safety protocols, isolette systems, and emergency response
- Proficiency in neonatal airway, ventilator management, equipment troubleshooting, and EMS coordination
- Excellent communication and crisis management skills
Responsibilities:
- Manage complex neonatal airway and ventilation scenarios; provide stabilization and vital interventions during ground and air transport
- Operate and troubleshoot ventilators, isolettes, and critical care equipment under variable conditions
- Accurately document all transport events, interventions, and assessments on paper-based systems
- Collaborate seamlessly with multidisciplinary NICU and transport teams for safe, efficient transfers
- Maintain scrupulous infection control and adhere to unit policies; required black-on-black scrubs
