Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• Current state licensure as required
• BLS and ACLS certifications preferred
• Previous experience working with advanced respiratory care modalities is a plus
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and assess patients to determine the appropriate type and frequency of respiratory therapy
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on physician diagnosis and patient needs
• Monitor, record, and effectively communicate patient conditions and responses to therapy with the healthcare team
• Conduct advanced respiratory therapy procedures and operate critical care equipment
• Administer medications and evaluate their effectiveness as part of the patients care plan
• Educate patients and families about respiratory conditions, treatment plans, community resources, and support groups
• Participate in emergency resuscitation efforts and respond to code situations as part of the resuscitation team
• Regularly assess and refine respiratory practice based on patient outcomes
