This role places you in a bustling 371-bed facility featuring diverse settings such as medical/surgical units, intensive care, emergency, labor and delivery, and a Level 2B Nursery. Youll gain invaluable experience in a collaborative respiratory therapy environment, working alongside a dedicated team with a range of patients and cutting-edge equipment. Exposure to different workplace practices and varied leadership styles will support your ongoing career advancement, making this assignment a memorable highlight on your resume.
Schedule/Hours:
- 36 hours per week
- Rotating Day/Evening shifts with every other weekend (EOW) required
- Day position may rotate to 11a11p when needed
- Night position is straight nights
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Respiratory Therapist in an acute care, ventilator-focused setting
- Associates or Bachelors degree in respiratory therapy
- Experience with arterial blood gas (ABG) draws
- CRT or RRT credentialed by NBRC
- Active Massachusetts Respiratory Therapist License
- Proficiency in EPIC charting preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver advanced respiratory care across multiple units, including ICU and med/surg floors
- Collaborate with a well-staffed team, including assignment to ICU or med/surg as needed
- Operate state-of-the-art PB980 and Hamilton T1 Transport Ventilators
- Perform ABG collections and participate in patient care rounds
