Required Qualifications:
- Licensed Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) or Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
- Demonstrated proficiency in advanced respiratory treatments and interventions for pediatric and neonatal patients
- Current, valid credentialing as required by regulatory bodies
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive respiratory care to pediatric and neonatal patients, including performing assessments, managing ventilators, and administering therapeutic treatments
- Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Perform critical procedures such as intubation assistance, airway management, blood gas analysis, and emergency interventions
- Accurately document patient information, therapies, and responses in compliance with hospital protocols
- Educate and support patients families regarding respiratory treatments and equipment
