Required Qualifications:

  • Licensed Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) or Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
  • Demonstrated proficiency in advanced respiratory treatments and interventions for pediatric and neonatal patients
  • Current, valid credentialing as required by regulatory bodies

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive respiratory care to pediatric and neonatal patients, including performing assessments, managing ventilators, and administering therapeutic treatments
  • Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Perform critical procedures such as intubation assistance, airway management, blood gas analysis, and emergency interventions
  • Accurately document patient information, therapies, and responses in compliance with hospital protocols
  • Educate and support patients families regarding respiratory treatments and equipment
