As a Registered Respiratory Therapist in this travel role, youll engage with a diverse patient population, including neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric individuals. Working closely with a collaborative care team, youll provide comprehensive respiratory care, plan and adapt treatment protocols, and gain exposure to a variety of unique workplace practices. Schedule/Hours:
- 72 hours bi-weekly
- 7:00am 7:00pm
- Every other weekend
Qualifications:
- Active IL Respiratory Care Practitioner license
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
- Successful completion of both the written registry exam and clinical simulation exam
- Open to both new graduates and those with at least 1+ years of experience
- Proficient in observation, assessment, and collaborative communication with the care team
Responsibilities:
- Deliver basic and advanced respiratory care across all age groups
- Plan, implement, assess, and adjust individualized care plans
- Exercise independent judgment within clinical scope
- Accurately document and report patient progress and observations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
