Qualifications:
- Active, unencumbered license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (preferred)
- Prior experience in acute care or hospital setting preferred
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and collaborate with diverse teams
Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and deliver high-quality respiratory care to patients of varying acuity
- Operate, monitor, and maintain respiratory therapy equipment
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as needed
- Educate patients and families on respiratory management and care plans
- Accurately document patient care and progress
