Working here means contributing to a high-acuity environment dedicated to neonatal transport as part of a multidisciplinary NICU team. Youll be exposed to advanced equipment such as Hamilton and Cross Vent transport ventilators, all while gaining invaluable experience in a unit known for outstanding staff collaboration and leading-edge technology. Schedule/Hours:
- Scheduled 2-3 shifts per week
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of NICU transport experience
- RRT/CRT, NRP, and PALS certifications required (STABLE preferred)
- Advanced knowledge of neonatal airway management, transport operations, and critical care for high-risk neonates
- Expertise with transport physiology and safety protocols (ground and air)
- Demonstrated proficiency in patient assessment, ventilator management, communication, and crisis management
Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced respiratory and transport care to neonatal patients, including bag-mask ventilation and airway stabilization
- Operate and troubleshoot transport isolette and ventilator systems
- Ensure accurate documentation during all stages of transport
- Collaborate with EMS teams, coordinate facility handoffs, and adhere strictly to safety guidelines
- Contribute to a culture of infection control, patient safety, and continuous learning
