As a Registered Respiratory Therapist specializing in NICU transport, you will collaborate closely with expert teams and gain hands-on exposure to the latest in neonatal airway and ventilation practices. Working with advanced equipment such as Hamilton and Cross Vent ventilators, youll expand your experience, refine your skills in critical neonatal care, and learn from seasoned leadersa resume-building opportunity for those seeking growth in high-acuity and transport medicine.

Schedule:

  • 23 shifts per week

Key Qualifications:

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) with at least 2 years of NICU transport experience
  • Certifications: NRP, PALS required; STABLE preferred; annual transport competency
  • Expertise in neonatal airway management, ventilator management (conventional, HFOV, CPAP, HFNC), and transport physiology
  • Proficient in transport operations, isolette systems, EMS integration, and safety protocols
  • Strong communication skills for effective handoffs and multi-disciplinary teamwork
  • Experience with crisis management, infection control, and understanding of ground and air transport safety

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage bag-mask ventilation and advanced airways in neonatal transports
  • Safely operate and troubleshoot transport ventilators and isolettes
  • Assist in line placements (PIV, UVC) and perform point-of-care testing
  • Document patient assessments, interventions, and transport events accurately
  • Collaborate for seamless transitions with both sending and receiving care teams
