Key Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist credentials required
- Previous acute care experience strongly preferred
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced, multidisciplinary environments
- Must maintain a permanent residence at least 60 miles from assignment location
Primary Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality respiratory care, including assessment, treatment, and intervention for diverse patient populations
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other care team members to create and implement respiratory care plans
- Manage ventilators, provide life support, and monitor respiratory equipment
- Educate patients and families about procedures and ongoing respiratory care
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with facility protocols
