This travel assignment is ideal for experienced Registered Respiratory Therapists seeking exposure to cutting-edge practices within both adult and neonatal critical care. Working alongside a variety of healthcare leaders, you'll expand your skill set and gain valuable insights into diverse care protocols and leadership styles.

Schedule/Hours:

• Shift: 1800-0630
• Days: Variable
• On Call: As needed

Key Qualifications:

• Must reside at least 100 miles from Reno, NV
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with valid credentials
• ABG License required
• Active ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
• Minimum 3+ years experience in level 3 NICU, including high frequency ventilation, nitric oxide, heliox, bubble CPAP, heated high flow for neonates, neonatal intubation, ventilator management, arterial puncture, and delivery attendance
• NICU transport experience preferred
• Confident working across all adult and neonatal critical care areas

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver physician-prescribed respiratory care, including assessment, therapy, and education for patients with cardiopulmonary abnormalities
• Obtain and interpret physiological data, perform diagnostic tests, and analyze specimens
• Manage mechanical ventilatory support, artificial airway care, hemodynamic support, and pharmacological respiratory therapies
• Provide bronchopulmonary hygiene and participate in cardiopulmonary rehab
• Float seamlessly between units as needed, including on-call coverage
