Key Qualifications:
- Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- Active state licensure (or eligibility to obtain in California)
- Previous experience providing respiratory care in adult and geriatric populations preferred
- Strong ability to work independently and supervise others as delegated
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and hospital documentation procedures
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver both basic and critical respiratory care services as ordered by physicians
- Manage and provide care for patients diagnosed with respiratory diseases
- Accurately complete all paperwork, including patient charts, flow sheets, EMRs, and charge entry
- Maintain compliance with departmental policy and best practice guidelines
- Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and contribute to a supportive care environment
