In this travel assignment for an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist, youll immerse yourself in a dynamic hospital setting, broadening your expertise and collaborating alongside talented healthcare professionals and leaders. Schedule:
- 13-week assignment
- Days: 7:00 a.m.7:30 p.m.
- Alternating weekends required
Key Qualifications:
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital
- Must be willing to work every other weekend
- Permanent address more than 50 miles from the assignment location
Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient-focused respiratory care in a high-acuity hospital environment
- Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including ventilator management, airway care, and blood gas analysis
- Collaborate efficiently with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families about respiratory treatments and equipment use
- Contribute proactively to clinical documentation and participate in departmental quality initiatives
