In this travel assignment for an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist, youll immerse yourself in a dynamic hospital setting, broadening your expertise and collaborating alongside talented healthcare professionals and leaders. Schedule:

  • 13-week assignment
  • Days: 7:00 a.m.7:30 p.m.
  • Alternating weekends required

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
  • Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital
  • Must be willing to work every other weekend
  • Permanent address more than 50 miles from the assignment location

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver patient-focused respiratory care in a high-acuity hospital environment
  • Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including ventilator management, airway care, and blood gas analysis
  • Collaborate efficiently with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
  • Educate patients and families about respiratory treatments and equipment use
  • Contribute proactively to clinical documentation and participate in departmental quality initiatives
