This opportunity allows you to work within a large, state-of-the-art hospital, renowned for diverse specialties and innovative patient care. Expand your expertise by engaging with dynamic teams and a variety of patient populations, developing your clinical proficiency with different leadership styles and workplace systems. Exposure to advanced protocols and cutting-edge equipment, such as the PB980 Ventilator and Hamilton T1 Transport Ventilator, will help solidify your reputation as a highly skilled respiratory therapist.

Schedule:

  • 36 hours per week
  • Night shifts, every other weekend required
  • No day-to-night rotation on nights. Days may have 11a-11p rotation as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years experience as a Respiratory Therapist in acute care, including ventilator management
  • Associates or Bachelors degree in Respiratory Therapy
  • Proficient with drawing arterial blood gases
  • Current certification: CRT or RRT from NBRC
  • Active Massachusetts Respiratory Therapist License
  • Experience using EPIC EMR is desirable

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive respiratory care in critical care, Med/Surg, and specialty units
  • Manage ventilators, including PB980 and Hamilton T1 Transport models
  • Conduct and interpret arterial blood gas tests
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
  • Adapt care processes within a high-acuity, fast-paced environment
