Schedule/Hours:

  • Work every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday)
  • Rotating shifts with both day and night opportunities

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

  • Current credentials as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
  • Patient assessment expertise
  • Experience performing physician-ordered respiratory treatment procedures
  • Skills in arterial punctures, oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and non-invasive ventilation
  • Experience with MEDITECH EMR (preferred)
  • Critical care background, NRP & PALS certifications considered an advantage

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive respiratory care utilizing advanced equipment, including V60 Bipap, Vapotherms, Avea & Hamilton ventilators, and EPOC ABG analyzers
  • Accurately assess patient conditions and implement physician-directed treatments
  • Float to designated areas as needed
  • Maintain thorough and precise documentation in MEDITECH
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team of 48 respiratory professionals, including leads, supervisors, and support staff
