Schedule:
- 23 shifts per week
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of NICU transport experience
- RRT or CRT certification required
- NRP & PALS certifications required; STABLE preferred
- Annual transport competency documentation
- Proficient in neonatal airway, ventilation management (conventional, HFOV, CPAP/NIV, HFNC), and equipment troubleshooting
- Experience with transport physiology, isolette systems, and EMS safety protocols
Duties:
- Provide comprehensive neonatal respiratory support and assist with advanced airway management
- Safely conduct ground and air transport, monitoring patient and equipmentincluding gas supplies and power sources
- Perform point-of-care ABG/CBG and glucose testing
- Assist with line placement, transport stabilization, and critical neonatal care for RDS, MAS, PPHN, BPD, and sepsis
- Accurately document transport events, interventions, and patient assessments
- Ensure strict adherence to safety, infection control, and crisis management protocols
