Working in a state-of-the-art environment with established teams provides exposure to diverse neonatal transport protocols, progressive leadership perspectives, and innovative practices. Schedule/Hours:

  • 2-3 shifts per week

Desired Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in NICU transport
  • Active RRT/CRT license
  • Certifications required: NRP, PALS; STABLE preferred
  • Annual transport competencies completion
  • In-depth knowledge of neonatal airway management, including mask ventilation, airway stabilization, and advanced ventilator support (conventional, HFOV, CPAP/NIV, HFNC)
  • Experience with transport physiology, safety protocols, EMS integration, and equipment troubleshooting
  • Proficiency in crisis management (equipment failure, respiratory decline), infection control, and clear communication during critical handoffs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide neonatal transport and critical care using advanced equipment (Hamilton vent/Cross Vent and TXP)
  • Manage and secure advanced airways, support ventilator and oxygen systems, and utilize transport isolettes
  • Perform and assist in bag-mask ventilation, line placements (PIV/UVC), point-of-care testing (ABG/CBG, glucose), and rapid patient stabilization
  • Accurately document all transport activities, interventions, and assessments with paper-based systems
  • Collaborate efficiently with multidisciplinary teams and coordinate care between sending and receiving facilities
  • Follow all safety, infection control, and hospital/unit protocols while wearing black-on-black scrubs
