Schedule/Hours:
- 6:00 pm 6:00 am shifts
- Varied days with every other weekend required
Experience the value of working in a facility where, while there is no NICU, youll have the vital responsibility of stabilizing neonates and occasionally ventilating young patients until specialized care arrives. This unique aspect strengthens your credentials, offering valuable expertise in crisis stabilization and neonatal care.
Desired Qualifications:
- Must live at least 100 miles from Pond Creek, OK
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentials required
- ABG license essential
- Valid ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
- Neonatal experience in stabilization/ventilation preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver respiratory care as prescribed by physicians
- Perform diagnostic evaluations, including obtaining/analyzing physiological specimens and cardiopulmonary system testing
- Manage ventilatory support and artificial airways
- Care for patients with respiratory deficiencies and abnormalities
- Educate patients, families, and staff on respiratory treatment protocols
- Support cardiopulmonary rehabilitation and hemodynamic cardiovascular procedures
