This travel assignment presents the chance to further your expertise in advanced hospital settings while working in adult acute care, ICU, PCU, ED, and floor therapy. Schedule/Hours:

  • Nights: 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM 7:30 AM)
  • 36 hours per week
  • Every other weekend rotation
  • No block scheduling
  • Holidays as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • NBRC National Board for Respiratory Care credential
  • NY state license to practice
  • ACLS and BLS certifications
  • A minimum of 2 years of acute care experience
  • If you are an international candidate, 2 years of U.S. work history required
  • Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality respiratory care to adults in ICU, PCU, ED, and general floors
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and inter-professional teams
  • Administer and monitor oxygen therapy, mechanical ventilation, and related treatments
  • Respond rapidly to emergent situations, ensuring patient safety and best outcomes
