Key Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years experience in either Pediatric ICU or Neonatal ICU settings
• Active and valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required
• Current state licensure to practice respiratory care
• Knowledge of advanced respiratory techniques, therapies, and ventilator management
• Strong assessment, clinical documentation, and critical thinking abilities
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary care teams
• BLS and PALS certifications preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality respiratory therapy interventions to critically ill pediatric and neonatal patients as directed by physicians
• Operate and maintain ventilators, oxygen equipment, and other medical devices in accordance with best practices and infection control standards
• Assess patient respiratory status, interpret diagnostic results, and report changes promptly to the care team
• Initiate emergency procedures and respond to codes as needed
• Educate patients families on respiratory therapies and equipment usage
• Accurately document all care, progress, and changes according to healthcare policies
