Taking on this opportunity as a Registered Respiratory Therapist allows you to hone your skills across a variety of high-acuity environments, including adult acute care, ICU, PCU, Emergency Department, and general floor therapy. Schedule/Hours:
- NIGHTS 12-hour shifts: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend required
- No block scheduling
- Holidays as needed
Key Qualifications:
- Valid NBRC credential
- Active New York state license
- ACLS and BLS certifications
- Two years of recent acute care experience (U.S. experience required for non-U.S. candidates)
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the assignment location
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality respiratory care in adult acute care, ICU, PCU, ED, and floor therapy settings
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes
- Document and assess respiratory treatments in accordance with hospital policy
- Adapt to fast-paced environments and evolving patient care priorities
