Responsibilities:

• Deliver basic and advanced respiratory care, primarily for adult and geriatric patients on physician orders.
• Work independently with minimal supervision, while also supervising others as delegated.
• Accurately document patient care: complete paperwork, update electronic medical records and flowsheets, and submit charges for respiratory therapy.
• Adhere to departmental and facility guidelines, including SEIU representation protocols.
• Collaborate across disciplines to ensure patients receive thorough, compassionate care.

Qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• Proven experience providing respiratory therapypreferably including both critical and basic care settings.
• Strong organizational skills: timely, accurate documentation required.
• Comfort supervising others in clinical situations.
• Ability to work independently and within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
