Key Qualifications:

  • Current credentials as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
  • Active state license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist
  • BLS certification; ACLS preferred
  • Experience assessing and managing diverse patient populations with respiratory conditions
  • Strong skills in advanced respiratory modalities and emergency response
  • Exceptional communication abilities for both patient care and interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Reliable, compassionate, and detail-oriented work style

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and care for patients with respiratory insufficiencies, implementing appropriate treatment plans
  • Assess, plan, and adjust care based on clinical diagnosis and ongoing patient response
  • Perform advanced respiratory care techniques and administer required medications
  • Monitor, document, and communicate patient conditions to the healthcare team
  • Educate patients and families about health conditions, available community support, and relevant educational resources
  • Participate in the hospitals emergency resuscitation/code team, providing rapid response during critical events
  • Continuously evaluate respiratory therapy practices to ensure optimal patient outcomes
