Schedule/Hours:
- Travel assignment (local shift schedule will be provided upon interview)
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and monitor respiratory therapy treatments and ventilator care
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate therapy plans per physician orders
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including arterial blood gases
- Educate patients and families on respiratory techniques and equipment
- Collaborate efficiently with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Ensure accurate, timely documentation of all care delivered
- Maintain knowledge of current respiratory therapy best practices
Desired Qualifications:
- Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- Valid respiratory therapist license (or eligibility) in New York
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Experience in acute care or hospital settings preferred
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to quickly adapt to new clinical environments
