Key Qualifications:

• Graduate of an AMA-accredited Respiratory Therapy program (AS Degree or equivalent).
• At least one year of clinical hospital respiratory therapy experience.
• Valid credentials from the National Board for Respiratory Care (CRTT, CRT, RT, or RRT).
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS encouraged.
• Ability to interpret physician orders, communicate effectively with healthcare teams and patients, and complete precise documentation.
• Demonstrates strong skills in airway management, ventilator operation, ABG procurement, CPR/intubation, and use of pulmonary function equipment.
• Proficient with adult, pediatric, and infant respiratory therapy tools.

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive cardiopulmonary care to patients of all ages.
• Ensure patient dignity and rights are respected at all times.
• Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot a variety of respiratory equipment.
• Accurately document treatments and respond to any inquiries from staff and patients.
• Assist in reviewing and developing departmental protocols and manuals.
