Working on the Respiratory Unit, youll further your expertise in cardiopulmonary care while collaborating with a highly skilled medical team. This role promises valuable hands-on engagement with a broad spectrum of patients, strengthening your rsum with new knowledge and innovative approaches to respiratory care. Schedule:
- 3 x 12-hour day shifts
- 36 hours per week, guaranteed
- Weekend hours as needed
- Required to take call as needed
Ideal Qualifications:
- Graduate of a COARC/AARC/NBRC-approved Respiratory Therapy program
- Current Missouri Respiratory Care Practitioner license
- Registered through the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP or PEARS (AHA)
- 2+ years of experience in a hospital respiratory care setting
- Professionalism and adaptability for fast-paced patient care
- Ability to stand/walk for extended shifts and manage on-call duties
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered respiratory care
- Assist physicians in treating patients with cardiopulmonary disorders
- Serve as a clinical resource to colleagues and staff
- Ensure compliance with Missouri Board of Respiratory Care guidelines
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation using EPIC EMR
- Uphold the highest standards for safety, ethics, and patient experience
