Schedule:
- Day shift: 6:30 am 7:00 pm
- Three twelve-hour shifts per week (36 hours per week)
- 15-week contract
- Must arrive the Thursday before start for required employee health appointment on Friday
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive airway management for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients
- Provide ventilator and non-invasive ventilator management and support
- Consult with physicians, respond to codes, and perform all aspects of respiratory care
- Maintain accurate charting using computerized systems and manage medications via Pyxis
- Operate a range of equipment, including PB 980/840 Ventilators, V60, and Para Pac Transport Vent
Qualifications:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required
- Active State of Hawaii license or proof of application prior to start (must have Hawaii license by assignment start)
- Minimum two years experience as an RRT, with proficiency in caring for all age groups
- Not accepting candidates on their first travel assignment
- BLS and ACLS required; PALS and NRP preferred
- Proof of flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required before start (can be taken care of during health clearance)
