Schedule:

  • 72 hours bi-weekly
  • 7:00am 7:00pm shifts
  • Every other weekend required

Qualifications:

  • Valid Illinois license
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist, or Certified Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT)
  • Completion of the written registry exam and clinical simulation exam
  • 1+ year of experience preferred (new grads considered)
  • Strong assessment, planning, and communication skills across neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient populations

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver basic and advanced respiratory care under physician direction
  • Accurately assess, implement, and modify therapeutic plans for diverse patients
  • Make independent, responsible clinical decisions within established protocols
  • Maintain effective communication with the interdisciplinary care team
  • Precisely document care interventions and outcomes
