Schedule:
- 72 hours bi-weekly
- 7:00am 7:00pm shifts
- Every other weekend required
Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois license
- Registered Respiratory Therapist, or Certified Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT)
- Completion of the written registry exam and clinical simulation exam
- 1+ year of experience preferred (new grads considered)
- Strong assessment, planning, and communication skills across neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient populations
Responsibilities:
- Deliver basic and advanced respiratory care under physician direction
- Accurately assess, implement, and modify therapeutic plans for diverse patients
- Make independent, responsible clinical decisions within established protocols
- Maintain effective communication with the interdisciplinary care team
- Precisely document care interventions and outcomes
