Key Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- Current state respiratory care practitioner license (or eligibility)
- BLS/ACLS certification preferred
- Experience providing therapy to adult and geriatric patients
- Strong independent work skills, plus proven ability to supervise others as needed
Major Responsibilities:
- Deliver both basic and advanced respiratory care services for adults and geriatric patients
- Respond promptly to physician orders and adhere to departmental protocols for all aspects of respiratory therapy
- Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records, flow sheets, and charge systems
- Provide oversight to other staff as delegated, ensuring quality and safety standards are met
- Manage treatments independently, effectively prioritizing patient needs
