Join an advanced pediatric respiratory care team as a Registered Respiratory Therapist specializing in Pediatrics. This travel opportunity is based in Mentor, OH, offering the chance to apply your expertise in a dynamic healthcare environment focused on high-quality respiratory therapy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled medicated aerosol therapy, including small volume nebulizers, breath-actuated nebulizers, and vibrating mesh nebulizers
• Deliver patient education on aerosol, MDI, DPI therapy, and medication administration with barcode technology
• Perform airway clearance therapies such as clapping, vibration, directed cough, PEP, oscillatory PEP, and high-frequency chest wall oscillation
• Manage airway techniques including suctioning, tracheostomy care, manual ventilation, CPAP/BiPAP/NIMV, and ventilator system checks
• Support high-risk deliveries using surfactant administration, NRP protocols, T-piece ventilation, and intubation
• Conduct blood gas sampling, analysis, and interpretation to assist with clinical decisions
• Administer humidity therapy with various devices and ensure appropriate clinical practice guidelines compliance (e.g., asthma care, CF care, RDS management)
• Monitor patient respiratory status using pulse oximetry, capnography, ventilator graphics, and conduct spontaneous breathing trials
• Facilitate safe patient transport with portable respiratory equipment, including HFNC and Nitric Oxide transport
• Handle oxygen and special gas therapy, ensuring calibration and troubleshooting of Nitric Oxide and Heliox systems
• Maintain cleaning and equipment standards to support infection control and readiness

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Proven proficiency in pediatric respiratory care modalities and therapies
• Strong knowledge of ventilator management and respiratory monitoring
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot specialized respiratory equipment
• Experience with critical care and neonatal respiratory support
