Qualifications:

• Must hold current credentials as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Valid Respiratory Care Practitioner license (or eligibility)
• Demonstrated clinical experience in an acute care or hospital environment
• Proficiency in ventilator management and airway care
• Strong knowledge of pulmonary function testing and blood gas analysis
• Excellent critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
• BLS and ACLS certifications required

Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, effective respiratory therapy, including aerosol and oxygen therapy, airway clearance techniques, and mechanical ventilation management
• Monitor and assess patient responses, adjusting care plans and interventions as needed
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
• Conduct patient assessments, educate patients and families regarding respiratory health, and participate in care planning
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with facility standards
• Provide emergency respiratory interventions as required
