Professionals in this role will benefit from exposure to a range of practice settings, including opportunities to float between different units and facilities. You'll hone your expertise in both emergency and critical careparticularly in the NICUbroadening your clinical knowledge and enhancing your resume with specialized experience.
Schedule/Hours:
- 13-week assignment
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week
- Night shifts: Mix of 12s and 8s (0630-1500 or 0630-1900)
- Every 2nd or 3rd weekend
Key Qualifications:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with current Wisconsin RRT license (CRT license also accepted)
- 3+ years of recent respiratory care experience in a critical care environment
- NICU experience required
- Current certifications in ACLS and BLS
- Proficiency with EPIC charting within the last 12 months
- Ability to float to Oconomowoc, Mukwonago, and other units as census demands
- COVID-19 vaccination required unless medically/religiously exempt
- Adaptability, resilience, and strong interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality respiratory careincluding NICU and emergency/critical careacross multiple units
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Manage change and maintain excellent patient care even when floating among facilities
- Uphold documentation standards with EPIC
