This position is designed for a Registered Respiratory Therapist seeking exposure to advanced clinical settings and high-acuity patient populations. As part of your assignment, youll work in a leading acute care environment, supporting patient care and potentially floating within your specialty to closely connected sites within a 40-mile radius. This role encourages adaptability and fosters broad clinical knowledge as you work alongside other healthcare professionals skilled in using the latest technologies and procedures.
Schedule/Hours:
- Every other weekend (EOW)
- Every other holiday (EOH)
- May require floating within skill set or to other local sites as needed
Qualifications:
- Active WI Respiratory Therapist license (must be in hand before start date)
- Previous critical care experience, with at least one year within the last 12 months
- EPIC proficiency preferred
- PALS certification required; NRP optional
- Demonstrated ability to manage a heavy workload
- Prior travel experience highly regarded
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based respiratory care to patients in critical and acute settings
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Float to sites within 40 miles as required, applying expertise and adapting to diverse practice environments
- Maintain documentation and patient records within EPIC
- Uphold safety and infection control protocols
