As a Registered Respiratory Therapist in this travel role, you will expand your clinical skills by working alongside seasoned professionals and learning new protocols. Required Qualifications:
- Current license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Graduated from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
- BLS, ACLS certifications (additional credentials may be preferred)
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Previous hospital or acute care experience is highly desirable
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe, skilled respiratory care, including ventilator management, oxygen therapy, airway management, and emergency support
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to create and implement individualized respiratory care plans
- Document patient progress and responses in accordance with facility guidelines
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to team-based decision making
- Educate patients and families regarding respiratory treatments and equipment
