This assignment places you in a respected 225-bed specialty care hospital, providing expert services in cardiovascular, oncology, neurology, rehabilitation, behavioral health, bariatric medicine, womens health, and pediatrics. The diverse spectrum of specialties offers you an outstanding opportunity to expand your professional horizons, learn from various leadership approaches, and gain hands-on experience working alongside seasoned interdisciplinary teams. Schedule/Hours
- Travel assignment with flexible shifts tailored to facility needs
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality respiratory care to patients across multiple units, including NICU
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as prescribed
- Monitor, assess, and document patient progress
- Respond promptly to emergency situations
- Educate patients and families about respiratory treatments and equipment
- Adapt quickly to a variety of clinical settings and patient care challenges
Qualifications
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist credential
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Michigan
- Willingness to float to NICU and work with neonatal patients
- Previous experience in an acute care hospital preferred
- Strong communication and critical thinking abilities
