Schedule/Hours:

• Travel assignment; schedule details provided during onboarding.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and deliver respiratory care to patients of all ages with acute and chronic respiratory conditions.
• Initiate and manage ventilator support and oxygen therapy.
• Conduct diagnostic testing, including arterial blood gases and pulmonary function tests.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals for integrated patient management.
• Document interventions, patient assessments, and progress accurately within electronic medical records.
• Educate patients and their families on respiratory therapies and wellness strategies.

Qualifications:

• Current credential as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Active state licensure to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in Texas (or eligibility to obtain prior to start).
• Previous experience in acute care or hospital settings preferred.
• Proficiency in a variety of respiratory therapy modalities and equipment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in dynamic environments.
