Qualifications:
- A.A.S. in Respiratory Therapy
- Valid NYS license/registration as a Respiratory Therapist
- Minimum 2 years of clinical acute care experience post-A.A.S. degree
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance
Responsibilities:
- Deliver positive pressure and aerosol therapy to patients
- Institute and monitor oxygen therapy as needed
- Assist physicians with continuous ventilation support
- Administer cardiopulmonary resuscitation when required
- Perform pulmonary function testing and radial arterial punctures
- Provide high-quality, independent patient care in an acute care setting with minimal supervision
