As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, youll thrive in a comprehensive respiratory unit within a large, multifaceted hospital environment, including a Level 2B Nursery, Med/Surg units, and multiple critical care settings. Schedule/Hours:
- 36 hours per week
- Night shifts with every other weekend (EOW)
- Stable shift assignments; night position is straight nights, with possible rotation for day positions
Qualifications/Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in an acute care setting
- Strong ventilator management background
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Respiratory Therapy
- Competency in drawing arterial blood gases
- Current CRT or RRT from NBRC
- Active MA Respiratory Therapist License
Responsibilities:
- Deliver advanced respiratory care across ICU, Med/Surg, Emergency, and maternity units
- Operate PB980 and Hamilton T1 transport ventilators
- Utilize EPIC EMR for effective documentation and patient care management
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on a variety of complex cases
- Provide support and quality care for a diverse patient population
