This role provides an exceptional opportunity to work alongside an expert team in a 240-bed hospital, ensuring you see a wide patient population and a variety of cases, deepening your clinical knowledge and broadening your skill set.

Professionally, youll engage with cutting-edge technology such as the Hamilton G5 ventilator and Meditech EMR, and work within multidisciplinary teams that prioritize autonomy and foster collaboration. With flexible scheduling and the chance to be a pivotal member in both NICU and ICU care, youll benefit from the experienced staffs mentorship and expand your credentials in a supportive, progressive setting.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Night shifts: 6:00 PM 6:00 AM
  • Minimum 3 RT staff per shift for optimal support

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential; CRT or NBRC
  • Minimum 6 months of recent acute care hospital RRT experience
  • Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications
  • Preferred: Experience with Meditech, PICU, and NICU

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer respiratory therapies and treatments across ED, Pediatrics, ICU, NICU, and Med Surg
  • Operate advanced ventilator equipment and assist with intubations
  • Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) draws and provide education to patients and staff
  • Collaborate closely with a diverse, team-oriented group of professionals
  • Exercise critical thinking and autonomy in ventilator liberation and acute interventions
