Schedule/Hours:
- Day shift: three 12-hour shifts weekly
- Night call required after scheduled shifts (e.g., 3 shifts with 3 nights of call)
Required Qualifications:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with appropriate state licensure
- At least one year of recent acute care experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency with ventilators (Draeger & Hamilton T1) and HFNC (F&P Classic & Airvo 3)
- Familiarity with Philips V60 BPAP/CPAP and ResMed AirSense/AirCurve home units is a plus
- Ability to respond effectively while on call
- Willingness to work travel assignments at least 50+ miles from permanent address
- Commitment to excellent patient care
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor patients requiring advanced respiratory therapies
- Operate and troubleshoot ventilators, high-flow oxygen delivery systems, and noninvasive ventilation devices
- Accurately document therapy and patient progress
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive care
- Participate in education and safety initiatives
