Key Qualifications:

• Licensed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Previous experience in an acute care or hospital environment is highly desirable
• Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and advanced respiratory therapy procedures, including ventilator management, airway clearance, and oxygen administration
• Administer and monitor respiratory treatments and therapies as ordered by physicians
• Assess patient respiratory status and respond to emergencies as needed
• Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care, equipment usage, and disease management
• Maintain and ensure the proper functioning of respiratory equipment and supplies
